hutch, sounds like folks are getting mad at the Argies... the story, as far as i can tell:
- trump imposes tariffs on china
- china refuses to buy american soybeans, threatening the collapse of US soy farms
- argentina asks for financial help to avoid collapse, US sends $20 billion to stabilize
- argentina, being in a better position, drops some of its export tariffs
- china swoops in and buys 7 million tons of argentinian soybeans
so US tax payers subsidized the argentinian state, which in turn opened the door for china to replace US soybeans with argentine soybeans. did i get that right?
