Continuals - s/t - Probably my most listened-to record of the year. This one dominated my Spotify Wrapped song list.
Bed Maker s/t
Tsunami - Loud As Is - technically a reissue, but a great release.

The Verboten record is really good. I need to spend some more time with that one. I also like Jack White's "No Name" - although I fully admit I only listened to it because I managed to get tickets to his Atlantis show.  I liked it a lot more than I expected to though.

I'm old and don't listen to much new music these days.  Most of what I hear/buy these days is either classic old stuff, local bands, or older reggae releases.

Clearly I need an auxiliary list of favorite album.

for instance Kacey Musgraves's "Deeper Well" really does transport you to wonderous place and likely her best album to date.  Just perfectly crafted and should I ever stumble into a Target I would buy it on CD.

I'm looking at my Bandcamp wish iist on it are Aaron Frazer, Underworld, Thee Scared Souls, Humdrum, Thee Heart Tones, Dee C. Lee, Kneecap and Stetsasonic all releasing albums I thoroughly enjoyed listening to. Add to that Pearl Jam, Michael Kiwanuka, Liam Bailey, The Decemberists, Kate Pierson, Confidence Man, Gruff Rhys, Bill Ryder-Jones, Kim Gordon, and many many etcs.

Basically it was like always a great year for many new albums and get me started on stuff I've yet to checkout..
