It's sad how low Morrissey's career has fallen to have to stoop to these highschool-fests.

...and he accuses Bowie of not being relevant...(whatever 'relevant' means in musical terms)

there's actually a really strong lineup, i'd go day one...  it's nice to see lollapalooza going back to it's roots.  sonic youth imho is better when they play a shorter set.  and i've never seen the flaming lips.

i also doubt that this will appeal to the high school crowd seeing as it's all "old" music... it's going to be a twentysomething and above crowd.  change to lineup to trapt, three days grace, story of the year and yellowcard.  then you have you have a high schooler fest...

day two confirms something pollard and i have been  musing about  ;)

i don't know why morrisey would be headlining, but day 1 looks pretty awesome. i seem to remember last year's line up started out sounding interesting, and then ending up sucking

When did Lolla become a multi-day event? How does that even work on a traveling tour? I smell serious BS.

Also, if they got neither Cure or NIN to play as rumoured, there's going to be alot of people let down. Morissey/SCI is just weird as headliners.

If they put the headliner on first I'd be tempted, but I can't suffer through hours of shite waiting for the headliner...not that this particular line-up is shite, I mean "fests" in general.

Just as long as the Pixies don't play Lolla...I'd rather see them go out on their own.
