It's a great album.  The lyrics can be a little trite at times, but it's still a lot of fun.

the Ceasers mostly made me wish I was listening to the inspiral carpets or the doors.

Another PB review of BJM:                                                                                                 Hmmmmm, we seem to go to all the same shows.  I though BJM were awful
 last
night, Anton could barely function last night, he thought it was awful
 as
well.  They were fantastic in Baltimore on Friday night, and he was
 talking
friendly with some of the hecklers after the show.  If a band can't
 take
good natured heckling when they are screwing up, they shouldn't be
 playing.
BJM always seem to play until they are forced to quit, at least that is
 what
has happened the 3 times I have seen them.  You know a band is not
 having a
good time when the guitarist shows relief when Anton is told they can
 only
 play 1 more song.

And I feel the same way as you do about Death Cab, I find it hard to
 get
into a lot of their music and was not crazy about the show tonight,
 although
the Billy Bragg and Cure covers were quality.

I definitely preferred The High Strung over BJM Sunday night. Anton was clearly out of his head. But The High Strung! I am sorry I am getting into them so late -a great band. Lots of energy, talent and tunes. I hope (and I know poorlulu agrees with me here) that they come back soon. The bass player deserves special mention as he played something fierce.

Top. BJM's gig at the 930 was much better. Anton wasn't being so much of a prick.

Drone jam following "Satellite" two nights ago could have went a bit longer, IMO.
