backbar it is.

consensus appears to be forming around a later start time for the soiree.  i suggest setting a start time around 8'ish, there should still be a few straglers (read: alcoholics, read: me) for the puck-heads once the caps finish losing.

food: lemme look into that.  while i won't guarantee birchmere catering (unless someone wants to help me foot the bill), i'm happy to arrange some type of nourishment to go along with our tasty beverages.  PM me if you wanna join in on the food providing fun.

Unless the show is not all ages, the club should be able to stamp the under 21s in.

I'm bummed, I can't make it. I leave for a week-long conference in Vegas at 5:30 am the next morning and my wife would kill me if I went out the night before.

Was especially hoping to show up and enjoy my smokeless tobacco in front of fixin' jonesers.

if we don't get things started until 8'ish, i'd think that folks would still be around when you arrive.  i'll save you a hors-d'oeuvre (possibly sea-bird flavored).

FYI... Still no official confirmation on whether or not we can use the BackBar that night...  So tis time to put on the thinking caps for alternate venues, just in case.  An place with a DJ rig that could be used would be a plus.
