FYI - The presale is still going on now.  Very close seats on the side and back of the floor still available.

Apparently there will be a 2 day ticket option.  I wish I knew that YESTERDAY!

Me either.  It looks like they will do it in other cities, but those cities don't have anything on sale yet.  I wonder if this is a flub for DC, or if we don't get the option.  I guess I'll find out on Saturday.

I got ORCH Row G Seat 12.  Not too bad.  The seats my friend got thru the presale for night 2 are a lot worse, but I'm the only one crazy enough to go both nights.  I guess there is no 2 day pass for dc?

ORCH Row O one night, ORCH Row Q the other. Aisle seats both times. Not great seats, but the sound is usually better in the middle of the floor, so it should be good.

What's the view like from the boxes at DAR? Seems like it would be blocked.

ORCH Row L, left side for Tuesday
ORCH Row Q, right/center for Wednesday

I had ORCH Row B for Tuesday but it gave away my tickets because I was looking for both shows simultaneously. Bonehead move by me.

Either way, I'm excited to be there. Hopefully Billy goes deep into the catalog for these shows.

Billy's kinda screwed if he does, screwed if he doesn't. If he plays a 2007 greatest hits set, hardcore fans will complain the show is a retread. If he does a 2008 set with deep cuts, 80% of the people will complain he's being indulgent.

Songs I want to hear on this tour we haven't heard since reformation: Tristessa, Snail, Jellybelly, Porcelina, Thru The Eyes Of Ruby, Soma, Geek USA, Luna, Bodies, For Martha, Cherry.

Obviously depends which box you have, but the ones in the front half of the building are a really good view, in my experience. I would've loved box seats.

I couldn't buy tickets today because I need to put plans together first but I checked earlier to see what was best available, and it was box 29, closer to the back than the front. I searched again for tier seats and found some that were pretty good, so I'm not sure which I would pick.

It's a nonissue though, cuz at the rate this is coming along, there will only be crap seats left by the time I know how many tickets need to be bought.
