(WMUC's archived version of the show is 128 kbps, but the sound quality is lower than it should be.  They've figured out what the problem is and they're hoping to have it fixed soon.)

What are they waiting on? Does soon = maybe someday?

Apparently the problem is a faulty soundcard.  I'm not sure specifically what the holdup in this case is, but I know that equipment replacements often take a while because the station has to do them via purchase orders (rather than as credit card transactions).

Obviously I'd prefer "right now," but it should happen sometime in the foreseeable future.

Christine, please change include the date in the name of the mp3 so that recordings of different dates don't share the same name.  Thanks.

I would if I could, but the file is hosted on the WMUC site and that's how they've got it set up.  (I guess it's easier on their end to have a perma-link where the file gets overwritten every week than it is to change the link once a week.)

What I recommend is that, when saving the file, you add the date in front in YYYY-MM-DD format (e.g., 2008-05-10).  That way, you can save multiple shows and have them stay neatly organized in chronological order.
