That said, the list looks awfully comprehensive.

I actually checked bigyawn.net before I posted the question.

Awww man...that almost made me cry...  :D  You made my day

And so you know, i used allmusic and Barnes and Noble. Sometimes its hard to find the dates of different genres in allmusic. Though their format is easier to scroll through.

I think that's the best approach since release dates can and do change often.

One note:  I have to question the editorial wisdom of allowing a guy who nicknames himself "Pollard" to review the new Guided by Voices album.

See, I found his review to be quite objective. It is, after all, a best of

"There is little for an already dedicated GBV fan to find in this release other than an easy gift idea for friends. The new fan who hears this album will have a hard time finding anything to like by GBV if they can't find it here. Guided by Voices is my favorite band, this cd should make a few people feel the same way"

Metacritic also has an upcoming releases  list , which goes far into the future but isn't very comprehensive.  It's cool, though, to just eyeball who's planning on releasing albums in the coming months and year.

Yeah, and I have to add, the list I posted was a bit doctored, as we already have some Feb. releases. I honestly forgot to check metacritic this month, though i have in the past. I also chose not to include the likes of Five for Fighting or JC Chasez.
