This is true.  I have some of those effects from Lollapalooza video if you want to see how that goes. [/b]

Is Donnie Herron still in Dylan's band?

i'm out on this thread but i have to respond to this:

whats with the insult? you think dylan is terrible cause he don't play guitar, fine. But I think i'm entitled to point out that he did play guitar during the 96-2001 period and any dylan fan would know that regardless of when they graduated.

The concensus is he's not a great guitarist.. if you went to his shows as you say (something i doubt) you know that his guitar playing consisted of largely 2 note solos with his band's guitarists doing the heavy lifting! I happened to enjoy them but to say he started to suck because he didn't play guitar is just ridiculous..people don't go to see dylan to see his guitar skills and his voice has remained pretty much the same..it was tough to understand what song he was singing in 1996 and its tough today. Tony Garnier still leads the band and if anything they better than ever

I apologize if you find reality difficult to handle and please try to refrain from insults. You should be confident enough in your beliefs to not have to resort to mudslinging. [/b]
Thank God Tony is still around and George (his drummer), they are the only ones keeping that band alive.  When Dylan went to the keyboards it was ok, but the last I saw him in 2006 he had that Carnival Organ thing going.  Some of it was painful.  I did see a lot of good shows that year, Fairfax, Ottowa and his 'surprise' show in NYC. Stu Kimball is so boring!  Dylan claims this is his best band "man for man" but I think as a collective they blow hard. Bring back Larry Campbell or Fredd Koella...they were at least interesting. Apparently Stew and Dylan got in a fight Friday night because Dylan thought he sucked.  I am being completely serious.  However, this is not stopping me from scalping tickets after work to see Bob on the boardwalk at Asbury Park.  Rumor has it Bruce will show up...he is off until Friday when the e street tour picks back up.  Then again, if ANYONE plays ANYWHERE within ten feet of Asbury Park those rumors of the Boss showing up always occur. Not saying he is as popular as Trent Reznor, but professional wrestler Chris Hero was also walking around. I recognized him because, well, he was wearing a Chris Hero t-shirt. Usually when a band or whomever wear their own shirt it is kind of lame. This actually was quite awesome.

Have you seen his neck?

I think I was standing exactly where Trent was in that picture except on the other side.  The boys I was with would have been excited but they got to meet him later that night anyways.

it's heartbreaking to read that people chose the Foo Fighters over Underworld. I feel like hitting something...

and this is exactly what I was talking about, in photo (thank you Cali for pointing it out!):

Unfortunately Rob wasn't quite dancing to full effect yet, but it looks like we were already making fun of him about something.  (I can't decide if I'm appalled that a stranger took a photo that caught me in that outfit and it's now floating around the internets, or if it's ridiculously hilarious.)

Who packed the dance tent the most?

From the 4 or 5 times that I stopped by, Chromeo seemed to have the largest crowd. Underworld's crowd was pretty small after all the hype. Neat stage setup, though.

Chromeo by far had the biggest crowd for the dance tent, which kind of pissed me off. But they were ok.

almost 70% of the crowd dispersed after Chromeo set up. Rabbit in the Moon was awesome.

assuming you're the one in the shorts, there is nothing wrong with your outfit.
