I get snot-misty reading the Velveteen Rabbit as well as the Ugly Duckling to my kids, so I don't read them anymore. Actually, a lot of those traditional fairy tales, like Hansel and Gretel (child abandonment and homocide), the Pied Piper of Hamlin (town's children all die) and The 3 Pigs (pigs getting slaughtered) are really harsh and sad.

Another children's book that gets me every time is Love You Forever. I can't even look at the cover of that thing.

The only times i can recall crying were when i found out my paternal grandfather died, and when i found out Hunter S Thompson had died.  I also got a little teary when i found out my childhood dog of many years had passed on.

My black lab died two weeks ago.  That made me cry.  And getting his ashes back.  Other than that, onions.

Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried. Ever.

I'm almost positive that he cries in the first Missing in Action.  He gets choked up anyway.

Vansmack, didn't realize that you were such a fan of Mickelson. I could have gotten you an autograph a couple of weeks ago. I was acting as his bodyguard. Long story.

For the record, the day Elliott Smith died I cried more for him than anyone I'd never met before. What an awful, wretched day.
