My predictions:

The Vikings (10-6) will dominate the NFC North.

The Packers will have a winning season (9-7), but not make the playoffs.

The Bears (8-8) will still be in the same place they were at the end of last season: no consistently good QB (unless for some crazy reason, they get Chad Pennington), Mike Brown will have a season-ending injury and Devin Hester will continue to be the baddest motherfucker on the planet.

Oh, and the Lions (6-10) will be in dead last.

 GO BEARS!!!

Prediction: The people who named their twins "Brett" and "Favre" will burn in hell, and their kids will turn out to be total douchebags.

BOLD PREDICTIONS:

No team from the NFC East wins a playoff game.

The leading passer for the year does not have the last name Brady or Manning.

The San Francisco 49ers have the league's top-rated defense but fail to miss the playoffs.

A team other than Seattle finally wins the NFC West.

The Redskins fire Jim Zorn after a 6-10 finish.

The winner of the AFC North has an 8-8 record.

This year's best hope for an 0-16 finish: Oakland

Crap. You knew what I meant. Can somebody please take the Niners away from the York family? Haven't they done enough to destroy a once-proud franchise?

And will end up Jets fans - which might just drive them to suicide if they take this silly game too seriously, like most do.

Are we talking yards? TD's? Or overall passer rating?

That's like taking the field against Tiger Woods in a major, chances are you will be wrong.

Thats similar to my prediction, though i had the Steelers sweeping our division.  And how could the Bengals reign supreme again?  They didnt even make the playoffs last year.

i'll take bets on this kind of nonsense.

prediction: i will reign supreme in the poorman's 9:30 survival pool again this season.

steelers win the afc north at 10-6.  they're going to have improve a lot from last season to make any real noise this year.

I like your thinking. I'll also add that Brett will be traded to the Vikings for 3 1st round  draft picks and a couple scrubs, thus mentoring Tavaris long enouugh to make him the best Vikes QB since Fran the Man Tarkenton.

UofM football wins more games then the Lions as usual. And it's going to be a BAD year in Ann Arbor.

He'll have that team rolling in year 2 and 3. He's a scuzzbag, but knows how to coach up an offense.

When you all see Sam McGuffie this season, minds will get blown.
