Which is heartbreaking, as I'm now considering moving to SF in the Spring.  Totally missed ever seeing her live, crossing fingers for multiple accessible tour dates in support of her new album this Fall...one show won't be enough.

I concur with this choice. Liked her since the release of Escondida in 2004ish.
I don't shave my armpits until absolutely necessary as a rule.  I'm half hippie.

Escondida is one of my favourite albums of all time...absolute perfection, I listen to it at least once a week, usually every other day.

Sun City Girls.

The fact that the Bishops show in June was on the BC backstage and didn't  sell out while the Toadies filled the mainstage on the same night is just sad.

Did you make it to that Kelley Polar/Tony Conrad/Metro Area show last weekend? If so, how was it? And how out of place was Tony Conrad?  :)
