I think that excuse is crap.  The Cubs are just starting to come around, and people didn't abandon that team.

The O's have a good team this year.  Their pitching has really turned around.  The bats need to wake up a little, but most all of the games this year have been great.

thats fine, i was just asking!  those are the same ppl that trash talk the city and still have Ehrlich stickers on their cars anyway. fuck em.

but i can sort of understand not wanting to pay money to see a team that sucks.

I suppose if a band i liked put out a crappy album , i might skip the next show.  course, being a Boston Bruins fan means you can never call ME fairweather...

It's a nice ball park.  I'm going to try and catch a Yankees game there and see how ridiculous the amount of Yankees fans there will be at the game considering it's a home game for the O's.  Probably pay 30 bucks for parking this time.  Great.

fan's are not coming out to nat's games.  they should be gone in a couple of years.  and dc will have a big unused stadium.

right, but that's because of the new stadium.  once people have seen the venue once or twice, it'll have to be the team that draws in the crowd.  hopefully revenue from this temporary attendance bump will be re-invested in talent before it's too late...

Actually, Cubs fans are baseball fans.  It's fun going to Wrigley b/c everyone is so into the game  :)

At the O's game a couple of weeks ago, I saw a guy reading an art museum program while wearing crocs.

they'll have to (and thats what i said) because they have no history here. i'm actually going to give them the benefit of the doubt here, but also remember they have all of the transplants that like to see their howntown team in the area as well
