Paste Scam?

Did anyone else lowball a subscription rate when Paste did its "pay what you want" thing a couple months back? I still haven't received an issue, and was wondering if anyone else was having this problem. Thanks

The subscription is for 2008. I just received the January issue about a week ago, so be patient.
 
 You can also look up your account info on the website to make sure your subscription is active.

I've had a really bad experience with Paste.  I was supposed to have a free subscription that I got along with another purchase.  They emailed me to confirm my subscription and tell me when to expect my first issue, and I have still never received an issue despite calling them to ask about it and emailing customer service.  You get what you pay for with them...

I've never had a problem with Paste. I've had three subscriptions: one regular, one with the purchase of a cd, and the name what you pay offer.  I received my first issue for the name what you pay the other day.
 
 Magnet is the one I've had trouble with.

Most magazine subscriptions come with a should start in 4 to 6 weeks disclaimer... Also, the last issue was combined for Dec/Jan so only now would first  issue of 2008 begin arriving...
