No need to say "if the price comes down".  It's already assumed.

Air, of the price comes down

Trouble Funk and the Pietasters @Snallygaster

prices were pretty damn cheap last week, not sure what $pa¢e is waiting for.

Lowest price is currently in the 50's.

They're a 35 dollar(plus parking )band for me at best. And I've got the house to myself the next three nights. Even less motivation to go out.

Here.

Free ticket, free alcohol, free food, free parking. Adjustable volume, pause for pee breaks. No annoying traffic or chompers. Easy transition to bed after show.

Actually this sounds like a pretty good deal. I may just do this myself!

I judge economics for concerts differently than I used to. Did the band have to pay for work visas? What is overhead like? What is the likelihood I'll get to see them again? Of course, there's the factor of what can I actually afford/justify too. And that's always a crucial decision-making factor. My point is simply that touring economics have changed, bands are having a tougher time just going out on tour, and music as a career is becoming more and more unfeasible and unrealistic for artists. It bums me out because I do think that there will get to be a dropoff point where music and artists will thrive and succeed based on how and where people find and consume their product, and we are close to it...through social media platforms and streaming, not because of actual record/media sales and they won't be able to afford to do proper tours anymore and keep a low enough ticket price that people feel is justifiable.

I thought Air was utterly phenomenal. Not sure if anyone else went...respectable crowd for a Tuesday given they played here less than 1 year ago, the only difference was they added one song ("Dirty Trip"), and that made the show even better for me since I love the Virgin Suicides stuff. Met JB before the show, he was lovely. Really good audience, and the sound was excellent.

yeah that Air show at the Anthem earlier was something else. I already had seats up front for Steven Wilson on Tuesday -- another absolute can't miss show for me -- so I had to miss this one.  I'll catch Air in New York this weekend.
