Yes I am!  Are ya going? Which day?!

I am definitely going to see Dr. Dog, Galactic and the Knitters on Sunday....

It's too bad I met Sweetcell last week otherwise we could meet up.  I have a strict "meet no more than one boardie a month" policy...

Last week was September.  This Sunday will be October.

Or do you have to wait 4.5 weeks after meeting a boardie before you can meet another one?

Anyone going to see Great Lake Swimmers tonite at the Black Cat? I saw them Tues in Philly and thought they sounded fantastic. Julie Fader isn't touring with them at this time, but Melinda Mulholland joined them and did a great job on violin and vox (and is a lovely redhead to boot - personal weakness, sorry!)

I was pleasantly surprised by Wooden Birds (lead by Andrew Kenny, ex of American Analog Set). Every song tended to sound the same but it's not bad for a 30 minute opening set.

Did anybody watch A Place to Bury Strangers last night?  I wanted to go, but couldnt.  I love the new record, and want to hear it live one of these days... Maybe it isnt meant to be.  i missed them at Rufustival already this year due to not being able to find the venue.
