Got free tix to Pixies/Wezer sunday....only going if they are good seats though
possibly Courtney tues
possibly fems/echo wed
even with the lure of free/$20 tix, I couldn't motivate to make it to the show last night
I've seen them both a bunch of times in the last few years, so missing this one wasn't a huge regret even though it was a dream lineup for me

but going tonight...does anyone know who goes on first and set times?

Tend to agree...if you want to watch from side box being in the row immediately behind the seats is best...

I thought Courtney Barnett was pretty great but too loud but that would be her call...

floor about 15 rows back center.....couldn't really hear the guitars...still a great show, her vocals = strong

Well I was in balcony facing stage and guitars were loud

I don’t really know or understand sound...like does number of people in attendance impact sound?

All I try to say is that artist largely determines their own sound at bigger venues...some like to have it loud...personally I hate it when my ears ring the next day

I don’t imagine Anthem will sound better or as good as 930...hopefully people find it better than DAR or Patriot Center

I guess the general rule is sound should be best by soundboard?

damn...that's setting the bar pretty low

but I agree, best sound is by the soundboard...but not always the best sightlines
just not as fun being in the back

Well look I think the sound is pretty good...having seen more shows than anyone...but I think it varies...I have seen shows with great sound and shows not so great...all I say is artists have say...

But at the end of the day it is a small arena or a huge club

Anyone here attend the free national symphony show late last year? I think that show provided an interesting benchmark...also the DJ shows...
