my friend adam drums for the places (as well as the castanets), and he told me they were touring but not sure about a dc date.
as for jansch...i found out he was doing a tour last month through a friend who works at drag city, but he's only doing those four dates, which really sucks. i am debating on whether to go to the nyc show, but it's on the tuesday i get back from a weekend tour, so it'll be tough for me take off from the day job. i don't understand why he can't do more than a few shows.
