I went. Showalter seemed more comfortable than he was when he came through with Leo Allen and Eugene Mirman a few months ago. I thought Black was pretty funny, but his set really started dragging at a certain point.
On another note, the Black Cat really needs to do something about sell out/near sold out comedy shows. The line was down to St Ex and around the block. With no opening band for people to skip, everyone pretty much shows up at or before doors open and I'm sure some people missed some of the show. I dunno what the answer is, but twas lame none the less.
