Ulrich Schnauss - Goodbye
« on: April 08, 2007, 02:19:00 pm »
Has anyone else heard this yet? I thoroughly enjoyed the first couple listens I gave it. It's easily his most shoegaze-oriented effort. Some may write it off as too new agey but I think for the most part, he keeps the vocals (which at times do come across as a little cheesy) encapsulated in enough layers of sound to keep the listener interested.

Surprisenly, I haven't heard it yet but heard good things about it from reliable sources. Can't wait to get my ears on a copy.

For those who may not know yet, Ulrich has just joined the band Longview; or Long-View, however you choose to spell it. Have heard very good things about that too. Ulrich's remixes of earlier Longview works are superb so I can only imagine that he brings the band up a whole other knotch two.
