Stocks plunge as anxious investors ponder impact of Obama presidency on business, economy
NEW YORK (AP) -- A case of postelection nerves sent Wall Street plunging Wednesday as investors absorbed a stream of bad economic news and wondered how a Barack Obama presidency will help the country weather a possibly severe recession. Volatility returned to the market, with the Dow Jones industrials falling nearly 500 points and all the major indexes tumbling more than 5 percent.

notice how the article didn't say that the election was in any way related to the drop... no causation implied.

the stock markets would be SOARING today if we had elected the guy who said

"The issue of economics is not something I've understood as well I should."

I mean, right off the bat, they mentioned "stream of bad economic news," which I hardly thing can related to anything election related.  Granted, they mention "wondered" about Obama's policies, but it's definite preceded by more shitty news.

And some final thoughts are posted here.
Was almost right; looks like Obama might get Missouri AND Indiana.

what make you think he might get missouri?  CNN has mccain in the lead by 8000.

and i've never been so happy to be wrong in a personal prediction  :)

Oh, did it swing back the other way?  Last I checked, Obama was leading there too.

I think anywhere it is that close, provisional balloting and absentee ballots - which take longer to count - are going to benefit Obama far more than McCain.

If he doesn't get Missouri, then I got the number right - just flipped Indiana/Missouri.
