Been on a KMFDM kick (anything from before "Nihil"). Right now it's "Money".

I'm not exactly an economics expert so someone please correct me if I'm wrong but are the Bush administration about to oversee/currently overseeing the most socialistic thing the US has done since the new deal?

The Dandy Warhols - All The Money Or The Simple Life Honey

So now you're chasin' the American dream
Just like the dollar's gonna make everybody scream
But I can tell you for the money
The simple life sure looks good
 That's right, now
 Yes it's good
 Oh yeah

Now there's a whole lot of faking
 And takin'
 And shakin' my hand
And when they tell you they love ya
They love ya like a one night stand
So if you're playin' in a rock and roll band
But still you're doing whatever the man says
Well I can tell you for the money
The simple life honey is good
 That's right
 Yes it's good
HeyLa

What, no Steve Miller - "Take The Money And Run"?
The Beatles cover of "MONEY (That's What I Want)"... better than the original...

Granted, if you lost a lot in the debacle, I think anything w/o "money" mentioned would be good... retread of Bobby McFerrin's Reagan-era "Don't Worry, Be Happy"...

But then again, I'm assuming the gist here is some level of humor...
