Well, I wasn't going to say anything out of respect for your mother, but...    :o  [/b]
i would think you are a little young to be using "your mother" jokes.  didnt we stop doing them in the mid-80s???

I would think you probably don't have the first clue how old I am, so it's pretty much irrelative.

If American bars would bother stocking good beer in general, nobody would drink that rats piss known as Budweiser.

looked inside an Irish bars lately mankie? I think you'll find them full of rats piss like Bud, Millers, Coors etc - their move into the European market has been quite the illustration of the power of marketing/advertising

when i was living in ireland ('02), it seemed like budweiser was the beer of choice among many of the locals ... pubs would have the following taps:

 2 guinness
 2 guinness extra cold
 2 heineken
 2 budweiser
 (maybe some smithwicks or harps)

There's no better N.American beer than that produced from the oldest brewery on the continent, Molson.  Microbrews are for wussies.

You need to get around (or 'out and about' as we might say). There are some excellent beers that come out of medium sized breweries that are outstanding. Creemore, Sleeman, and Keiths are my favorites. All three brands are widely available and it ain't that fruity, wishy washy, namby pamby, little girl micro-mouthwash stuff either.

I think we could probably get a federal education grant to take a roadtrip of the Breweries of Ontario. A fact finding mission, as it were...

It's true we don't stock any Canadian beers, don't ask me why.

I will admit though that of all the Canadian beers I've tried that Molson Canadian (not Golden) is the best. The rest I've tried have been pretty bad.
