He means that was the one killer performance  that Vince inexpicably rose above his career full of mediocrity, only to plummet back into mediocrity quickly thereafter.

Sort of.  You don't make it to the bigs by being mediocre.  And you don't enjoy a long career by being mediocre either.

There's a role for him in the bigs, but it's becoming more and more clear that the fans will never enjoy a performance by vince Vaugh as much as his Swingers performance.  That was his best performance, that's all I was saying Bags, likely never to be repeated.  But that performance was magical.

I was comparing Brady Anderson to other major leaguers. Obviously, he has more talent than anybody on the company softball team, given that he was a major leaguer. But then again, you wouldn't compare Vince Vaughn to the actors in your local dinner theater.

In 15 seasons, Brady averaged 11 hr, 51 rbi and 20 sb per season, with a career average of .256. While his longevity is admirable, his career stats hardly rise above medocrity, particularly is you take out his one 50 hr, 110 rbi, .297 avg year.

He won a couple Gold Gloves too, he wasn't a one dimensional player.  Did he ever live up to expectations?  No.

When you're dealt by the Red Sox with Curt Schilling for Mike Boddiker, thats a lot of pressure.  It's amazing it took the Sox 86 years to win a title.

But I guess the real question is: Did he wear flip flops when hanging out in the gay bars of Baltimore shooting his steroids?

A girl I know briefly dated Brady.  She confirmed that he plays from both sides of the plate.

i really liked the movie, great writing, great delivery, really funny ... only things that didn't work were the gay son / art school character (they never really did anything with him, and what they did do wasn't really funny), and the hollywood ending, of course

I loved Wedding Crashers and I thought the brother was played SOOOO well.  The role might have been over the top, but the actor was great!  I couldn't stop laughing at the bedroom scenes where Vince stars with rope....enuf said for those who haven't seen it yet.  I want more movies like this!  I'm SICK of "comc book" movies....

I couldn't disagree more.  The scene where Vince is tied up in bed was one of my favorite scenes in the movie.

And I nearly spit my coke out when Vince said, but I'm taking the picture, it was a gift.

Wedding Crasher was an awesome movie. Yeah, the ending was a little mushy but it still carried its funny moments (the Ike Turner quote). For the record I actually met Vince Vaughn in Georgetown last summer when the movie was in production and he's an awesome guy who's hilarious in real life too. This movie is a must see.

And by the way, who actually watches that INXS rock star show?  INXS sucks and always will suck. They are NOT rock stars by any means so stop watching that stupid show.

point taken, if they were setting that whole story arc up for the ending when he's walking home with the painting, i guess it is worth it ... i just felt at first like it was easy, straight-forward gay bashing in an otherwise hilarious movie
