zippy has no need for a shell because he lives in a house with all his male friends, im sure if he left he would get a new shell, but why would he want to leave?

Hate to tell you this but a bear is what some Gay guys refer to as very manly men. The burly type.
 
 Oh, and I'm not sure whether you were aware of this or not Markie but Bertha's, as in that pic, is in Fell's Point. It's not a Gay bar but, of course, you will find some Gays there now and then. ....in case you were looking.

In Paris, there's a bar called the "Bear's Den"...I don't think this is the bar's official site, but a larger club...I think bears are mostly cute...too bad the feeling would not likely be mutual
