I thought they were good.  Short, fast songs with a lot of energy.  Glad I showed up to check them out. [/b]
they were 'ok' - little bit of a tendancy for the songs to sound the same after a while

sleater kinney were great - lots of energy - a few HEAVY new songs -  fairly muddy vocals esp at the start - crowd was WAAAY into it - I felt old.....

thanks for the info, just wanted to make sure they were not awful live, I really like the album, but I may not be able to make it to the show anyway

I made the same comment last night.

And I dug the cover of Bikini Kill's "Rebel Girl" during the encore.

A-MAZ-ING.

Actually, I think she's what makes them so great as a live act.  I've always been sort of surprised at how much I love seeing them; I think Janet's the answer.  Also of note, "Dig Me Out" is my fave album, the first she played on...

I'm way excited for tonight; will catch about half the Thermals set just cuz I can't get there any earlier than 7:00.

Any idea how well the show has sold??

It wasn't sold out in B-more and that was only a venue that holds 700.

I'm so mean and selfish...I'd love it if there were only 600-700 at tonight's show...  :D

Goddamn. Not only were the chicks on fire last night at the 9:30 Club, but the entire audience standing at the bottom floor was on too. What a damn good show they put on. They sure has hell were having fun and it showed. Anyone noticed that Carrie completely fucked up "GET UP" by starting the chours too soon and all three of them ended up laughing at each other because they saved it out of their asses.  Nobody cared! btw,  when there hell did Corin get so goddamn hot? jesus christ!

I can see how people enjoyed the show, but I just could not get into it.  I left before the encore.  I enjoyed The Thermals though.

Carrie's always the crazy one at the shows... while Corin keeps it pretty much confined to hair/voice...  It was pretty cool seeing Corin's son on the balcony with giant earmuffs on...

Can't say this is the best I've seen them at, but it was still great and still shows they're a tough act to beat live.  I was pretty amazed at how most of the crowd knew only one beat-- never before have I heard so few people excited to hear Little Babies.  Personally, I think One Beat, while still good, is their worst.

Well i remember seeing them awhile ago, not knowing one song and leaving thinking "what a great show". So last night, once again, went in not knowing one song and left thinking "What a great show". Maybe now my lazy ass will get out there and buy a damn CD. What a frickin amazing show!!!!!!!!!! And whats with the bartender wearing a Garciaparra shirt, does he not know there was a Yankee fan standing there? Guess not since I wasnt wearing a shirt.

did anyone notice that they had the baby with them while watching the thermals from the balcony?

good show, thought the selection was better last time they were here, but fun times. nice to get out of there early, too

also, the self titled is obviously the worst: no janet.
