It's like Tiffany shouting for help over the Beach Boys tribute band next door as Adam Ant scratches the lyrics for "Love Me Do" onto her neck.

In a rush so I can't post a proper review. But it was a great show last night. Mars Black is a terrific hip hop group from Omaha. The Faint rocked out in true dancing fashion. Love em. Bright Eyes was a 10 piece band and very intense. You're in for a good show!

well, I've now been to both concerts and I must say this night's show rocked more than yesterday. Or probably it was because I had a better spot. The Faint were more kick-assing and Bright Eyes even more intense. Sooo great!

i thought the show was amazing. the faint were so energetic and they really got the crowd moving. bright eyes was really good as well. conor seemed pretty coked up or something to me though. he still put on an amazing show though. the band was amazing, they added so much. it was a really fun night though and a great double bill.

i went to friday's show.  i thought the show overall was really, really good.  mars black was awesome and the crowd responded well to them.  the faint put on a great fucking set.  i was up front and their guitarist was dancing in front of me all night and playing some tight riffs.  and bright eyes also had an amazing set.  a lot of people have said that conor never seems into most of the time but i thought he was really into this show.  great show overall.

how did bright eyes fall so far so fast?  i hadn't seen them in over 5 years and they/HE seems even more ridiculous now.

"this song is about the first time i had my heart broken, it hurt so bad and i promised myself that it would never happen again, and it hasn't...."

 "AWWWW" - the crowd

unless this is heavy heavy satire (similar to the radio interview in Fevers and Mirrors), then he is out of control.

The Faint, as always, blew BE out of the water.  Earlier on tour they did a Neutral Milk Hotel cover, which I had hoped for.

yeah i heard that they did holland 1945 live and i was looking forward to hearing it as well but they didnt play it. oh well. glass danse, desperate guys and agenda suicide were the highlights of their set for me.

Well, you can try parsing what he said: "first time" implies more than once but "never happen again, and it hasn't..." contradicts that. He's too smart a lyricist to make such an ambiguous statement unintentionally so he was probably parodying himself.

(Now who's gonna jump on the phrase "parodying himself"...)

he's always parodying himself, isn't he??
