very true. . .but obama's whole schtick is that he's a different type of politician, one that can bring americans together, hope/change, et al. . .all i'm pointing out is that nowhere in his history or experience is that true, and, frankly, is in fact nothing more than old fashioned political pandering designed to get himself elected, whatever the costs and whatever he has to say to do that.

Yeah, that's totally weird.  I tried to PM you, manimtired, but for some reason, you're on both my Ignore list AND Buddy list, so I can't.  Odd...considering I have the South Carroll connection with sonick's wife.

people care about the economy and little else right now. obama has denounced and rejected farrakhan's endorcement since farrakhan made that speech. so yeah, go ahead and make that the message while capitalism collapes. sounds pretty out of touch to me
