Also, just so I understand the ground rules: can I call people who aren't part of this messageboard names? I'd hate to have to stop referring to HopeChange as Jimmy Carter v2.0.

Joking? Why would I be joking manimtired?

I found your comment on the Beastie Boys thread to be most ill advised and said so directly (quoting you so it would be clear) TWICE. Your response the first time was GTFO cause you didn't recognize me or something so the second time I had to make it clearer. Hopefully the third time is the charm: bashing/marginalizing/trivializing the work of community organizers ain't cool mac.

PLEASE tell me you're getting the message???

id say obama was more of a race baiter than community organizer so maybe youre right.  i think obamas "community organizing" was a JOKE. what did he accomplish with his community organizing?

Discussion of politics can be done without the name calling and personal attacks.

 So get it rest.
To be fair, there are only a limited amount of people that are making personal attacks...

yes but i suspect the surge in personal attacks is having an effect on the participation of those not involved in those personal attacks...

All three of 'em?   :p

Kosmo, I think it's just some nerves out there. Only three more weeks until the most anxiously anticipated presidential election of my lifetime, which isn't much shorter than your own. All this will pass.

Which we said about 2004. And 2000 before that. Is every election more anticipated then the ones before, or are we all just susceptible to hyperbole?
