best movies for halloween time

Actually, considering I'd put the original in my top 10 movies of all time, I thought the remake was pretty good.  Granted, you have to come to it as a new story, but overall I dug it.

has anybody ever seen this movie, which is from the seventies i think.  might be a tv movie, but it was about a family trapped in their house surrounded by lions.  can't remember the title and it really bugs me.

 Hocus Pocus is an old family tradtition since it was released on VHS. I effing love that movie. Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker as the attractive one? That's hilarious.
