Not saying there isn't a new horror right around the corner, but Hatch / Sweetcell are 100% right...there isn't anyone that takes over that movement when he's dead.  I don't think that means it disappears overnight, but who can pick that up?  His swagless kids?  DeSantis?  Be serious...you can say a lot about Trump and be right 999% of the time, but he does have a certain something that riles up the swine, and none of these other pretends comes close.  They're riding his coattails.

But as for "beating him at the ballot box", unless it's a bloodbath, another close loss isn't going to move the needle.  They already think the last election was stolen!  What's going to make this time any different?

Time to get this back on track...

New Bad Moves album "Wearing Out The Refrain" is most excellent, am enjoying that this time around they are more raucous but still firmly power pop.

Never realized the cherrypies that back him on king of ska from 1964 are the Maytals but I recognized Toots who practically owns the song! Awesome

Reggae is one of those genres where collecting on cd is the way to go. The Trojan two cd compilations are the greatest. 46 songs on this for example. It would cost $500 to find these on vinyl if you even could.

Dylan live 1964

Found the first two for $3..missing lp3 which is kind of ok as I can live without the Baez duets

This is the one where he says before if you gotta go  “it’s just Halloween ..I have my Bob Dylan mask on”
