Dude Argentine rock LPs are so so hard to find originals of….you got to understand it’s a much smaller market. An original Artaud in good shape probably $500-$1000. It’s a work of art!!!

I have a second pressing regular cover. And three copies of a recent reissue with the irregular cover. It’s a bitch to store!!

I also have a Spinetta record from the 80s that I think is legit signed but can’t say for sure.

When I left Argentina in 2002 after 18 months there I left a lot of Argentine rock albums behind and they were stolen or dissapeared. Still pains me.

knowing hutch has posted about Argentine rock in the past here I found his thoughts on the passing of Gustavo Cerati of Soda Stereo and currently giving them a listen.

tip of the iceberg as usual

could be filed under "random randomness", but: i was looking at guitars on Reverb a moment ago, and came across a PRS with a new color/finish that i had never heard of: "Multi-Foil Finish."  so i google it, and the first link that i click sez "The popularization of this finish was aided by Gustavo Cerati, one of Latin America's most celebrated musicians. Gustavo played a Multi-Metal finish as the lead singer of Argentinian rock band, Soda Stereo."

must be Rock En Argentina Week here on the board.

it most certainly is not, the main reason I miss GGW is he could find stuff like crazy
I hate forum search and not really sure how that is related to my google doodle comment (was this topic already discussed)

I have been on a kick where I've bought some of my very favorite CDs on vinyl...just to sort of see how they compare. The first Electronic LP sounds absolutely vital on vinyl...less brittle, sterile...cliched as it sounds, the warmth and the overall balance of the LP is downright joyful to hear. I love it.
