i like meute, but i get bored of them relatively quickly. the issue i have is lack of texture: synths & samplers in techno can sound like almost anything, from a real acoustic instrument to something completely inorganic, alien, evolving, etc. meute only has access to one set of sounds. it all becomes kinda same-y after a (short) while. like techno, meute's music is harmonically simple so they need other aspects to keep my attention... like textures.
