The guy sings a little too much like the Arcade Fire singer or Black Francis at times, but when he tones down the voice, it sounds good.

This song - Be Good To Me - from Moon Maan (Rick McCollum's band: ex-Afghan Whigs) is very good & very Whigish. Better than the 2 new songs on the Whigs comp:

it's some great stuff ... the first track was so boring that i almost skipped the whole thing, but then the beats started to get laid down fast and heavy ... i still hate johnny rotten's voice, but the instrumental music on this album is really incredible
