Got a lot of headphone time down at the C&O Canal today: enjoyed both Deer Tick records, and The Dream Syndicate.

EDIT: Around the house, since it's just me right now, no headphones, listen whenever/whatever.  When there was a family involved, I had a "cave' of sorts in which to listen to whatever (but not whenever).

This cd was a bonus issued with early copies of Very...I think it is one of the best things they ever done...well..maybe I should say Chris Lowe has ever done...

Does not have silibance or sibilance issues the reissue i got a few years ago has..over the years I have learned the hard way not to buy reissues

Also picked up a copy of the second Golden Palominos LP, "Visions of Excess". Damn that is one solid record. Sounds amazing, and the song with John Lydon on vocals is top notch.

The Great Otis Redding Sings Soul Ballads on original Volt mono....scratchy as hell but still a good listen...

Joes Record Paradise had records priced at $5 and under at 50% off..not sure if sale is ongoing
