I was not aware of this set of 60 Gainsbourg reggae dubs that came out in 2015...previously unreleased...Serge’s reggae stuff has aged so well ; Sly, Robbie and the Revolutionaries with the I-Threes...awesome

I know this album is much maligned but I find all PIL up to 1982 unimpeachable

Crooked Rain the 2 cd issue

Golly the original demos are pretty dire....In the booklet I think Malkmus says how the engineer should have got a production credit and damn he is right

This will be dumb, but I don't care.

New L7 is meh7.

Worshipped them, and it saddens me that they aren't even trying anymore. Jesus, at least try to have a song not stealing the sound of your last few albums.

Expanded editions of albums are dumb and I don't know why they released versions of Mars Audiac Quintet and Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements (the reunion tour, I guess?) but goddamn those albums rule

Found a deluxe edition for $30 due to tear on cover

6 cds of BOTT May be overkill but damnit if the first disc isn’t worth it on its own...solo initial takes

It's a pretty rare feeling but I wish I could go back in time and listen to the first 4 or 5 Butthole Surfers albums for the first time. I cant even fathom what was going through teenage nkotb's head when he 22 Going On 23 came on.
