Been listening to Buddy Holly’s Greatest Hits and even though I haven’t listened in a long while, some of these are clearly already in my DNA.  Haven’t yet dived into his deep cuts and rarities, it’s only a matter of time for that effort 

One song that jumped out with this most recent listen was “Listen To Me”.  This one may as well be the blueprint for several British Invasion groups

Nice Fall/Winter album

It’s amazing how these guys made a career out of executing such a simple concept over and over again

I do think it’s diminishing returns from album 1 to 2 to 3….a few years ago I got rid of 4 cause it was bad…gasp they actually tried writing their own songs on one side of the LP

But yeah overall I like the idea…

I will say their 2021 release of Girls & Boys was as good as about anything in the catalogue

I agree with excon...you need to at least put the band/LP title when it's just an image on the cover/label

also, I just checked, it's Thursday...but bad form from Hutch for not detailing that too
