They lost everyone with that one but that was my introduction so I'm very fond of it..l

Grace Under Pressure was my first concert.  Power Windows? Meh.

yeah thats the going opinion..i love it though... they lost me with hold your fire though...

i went to see them for test for echo tour (with sidehatch who as usual got the worst seats in the venue) and i just wasnt into it....it was just so not what my type of music at that point...

Rush was my least favorite band in the world until I discovered Wilco.   Rush did change my life. I hated them so much in High School that I became a punk.

when i was growing up, my parents were sort of religious freaks, so i could not listen to anything they deemed satanic, such as ozzy or kiss or judus priest or iron maiden . . . so i had to listen to things like journey and rush.  all that changed, the day i brought home 2112 on cassette, and my mom saw the star in the circle on the cover.  she stepped on it, called the artwork the devil, and that was the end of rush for me.

I pretty much dislike all forms of country but saw this album repped awhile ago and knew I'd seen it in my buddy's CD collection. So I borrowed it and it's been in constant rotation since.

Also this because my kids are now obsessed with this band. Which, gotta say, I'm delighted about because I think they're great.
