I think it should sell out soon.  If it doesn't, hey, it's their loss.

How many chances do you get to see a member of the Clash?  Or Tony Allen?  That's rarer than seeing the Police.  Or a panda at the zoo.

Hey Brian,

I saw Big Audio Dynamite, and certainly could have seen Joe Strummer.

What other Clash member would you want to see?

guilty!  hello, i'm sweetcell and i'm addicted to live music (group response: "welcome, sweetcell, have a $6 yuengling").  right now i'm at step 1: invoking a higher power to help distinguish between good and merely mediocre live shows.  after that i move on to step #2, being able to appreciate music from bands that, through no fault of their own, happen to have sold more than 10,000 copies of their last album.

that being said: GB&Q tix still available...

Ah, screw it Sweetie. Just give in and enjoy yourself.    ;)

I jumped on these as soon as I could too. Tickets for this show are still available but a thievery corp dj set sold out in less than an hour.

DC is an enigma of lameness. (bitter about not getting one of those thievery tix).

I bought tickets for myself when they went on sale. With the lack of a full US tour and the NYC sellout I'm expecting the DC show to also sell out though it may take a bit longer unfortunately. I picked up the album and think it's really great. I'm def. looking forward to this show!

He's not, he only produced the record. Plus, he's in studio with Cee-Lo recording or finishing the new Gnarls album.

Yeah ... one of the girls in the string quartet sprained her wrist, so he's going to jump in!

Anyone know anything about Trixie Little and the Evil Hate Monkey?  Worth showing up early for?
