Thought so, but I haven't gotten used to the various 'voices' on the boards yet.  'Cuz I was under the impression you were the resident anti-hipster down home boy.

Only made worse by y'all changing your Board names in this thread!!

   ;)

I'd get your ears checked.   Grandaddy turned in the dullest album this side of Nada Surf.  Oh and SFA, but I mean shit, they've been off their game for a while.

Hipsters must seem anti-hipster, by definition.  Rhett plays the game very well.

 Where did Henry Dark go?

 I
so Mjnova I bet you like the latest Radiohead, Blur and White Stripes too?

You seem to have the complete opposite middle age rock tastes to me. I really like rings around the world, I think it is SFA's best.

Actually you might be correct there. I dont think I have been serious once in my life.

But i think that is GGW's line. He is the one who looks like McEnroe.

why thank you for editing my post.  it's nice to know that i can take my music cues from a student at university of maryland, and someone who is obviously the paragon of music taste and knowledge.  nevertheless, i do find the new grandaddy to be quite good and interesting.  this album is quite a step up from "sophtware slump."

not sure about albums yet, but my favorite shows so far, in random order, were:
 Mission of Burma
 Supersuckers w/ The Forty-Fives & Throw Rag
 Television
 The Mooney Suzuki
 The Soundtrack of Our Lives
 Joe Jackson
Drive-By Truckers w/ Immortal Lee County Killers
 The Flaming Lips
and, I have to admit, David Lee Roth

I should also add the free show Ricky Skaggs did at Towson Borders to my best show list.

Been getting alot of good music released lateley and thought i'd share, see
if any of you all dig these too,or not. So,what do y'all think of these? If
you have any questions on any of them, feel free to ask and i'll answer to
the best of my ability.so here goes, these have really been getting heavy
 rotation lately:The Tyde-Twice...BJM-Spacegirl....Bottom of the Hudson-the omaha
 record....elefant-sunlight makes me paranoid...new pornograhers-electric
 version....Caesars-39 minutes of bliss...outrageous cherry-supernatural
 equinox...rainer maria-long knives drawn....johnny cash-the man comes
around..stratford 4-love and distortion ...warlocks -phoenix I highly
 recommend any of these.

.Now some that are good but somewhat disapointing....
 eels-shootennanny...grandaddy-sumday...Telepathic butterflies-self
 titled...Supersuckers-mothafuckers be trippin...Cramps-fiends of dope
 island...spiritualized-amazing grace...Britta Phillips and Dean wareham(from
 Luna)...alaska-emotions...portistatic-summer of the shark...yo la
 tengo-summer sun...starlight mints-built on squares...white light
motorcade...lou reed-the raven... All of these are good, they've just put
out better records in the past or are capable of much more IMHO.So,do you guys
listen to any of this stuff?Do you like/dislike any of them.i'd apprecaite
some feedback if you see fit.I'd say anything above is a welcome addition to
 a music collection.Sparks
