oooooh cannot wait til march!! interpol AND idlewild! shame both shows are in baltymore...but for these two bands it's well worth it. i agree with hannah, one can never see interpol too many times. and i would put forth the same sentiment about idlewild. ahhh i wish it was march already!!

And because of that, there are far too many songs that I've never heard them play live. I am really hoping they'll manage to fit in 'Scottish Fiction' this time. That song seems like it'd be pretty powerful in person and is an excellent example of how far that band has come.
[This message has been edited by wingelbert humptyback (edited 01-24-2003).]

Interpol tix are on sale now. And as for Idlewild, I think there is a good chance that we'll get In Remote Part/Scottish Fiction. They've played it on their UK tour. I've still never heard them do Captain, so that would be a treat. But really, I will be happy to hear whatever they choose to play.

I am guessing you may be right about 'Scottish Fiction' getting on to the setlist this time. If anything, they probably didn't play it last time I saw them (cmj) because they really didn't seem to be playing too much new material at all. I figured it was because the album was still a ways off for domestic release at that point. But I was impressed with how much material was pulled from all three full lengths.
Is the Recher a general admission place or assigned seating? I've never been there.

Interpol is on Carson Daly's show tonight.
I watched that show for the first time last night and I have to say that Carson Daly must be the world's biggest loser.
Between talking about how often he flys first class and dropping gems like "Well, all the models I know......" I don't see how this guy ever got a job.
Also, Morcheeba is on Conan and Wondermints are on Kilborn

I would expect the same scope for the US tour, though Gavin's involvement may mix things up a bit. Maybe a few reinventions of old songs?
