I think I know which guy Celeste was referring to, and I don't think that was you.
I was amused by the short little gay guy behind us singing along to all of the songs. Rhett's such a sex god i guess. yes. he is a bundle of energy, even when only playing acoustic.

quote:
Originally posted by Fico:
I thought I came in during the first song but around the 3rd song someone requested a song and he said he opened up with that one..but I reckon I could've only missed one song... he great energy for standing by himself with an acoustic..I expected the more conventional sitting on a stool approach..I really enjoyed it...
While I was on the line I saw you walking opposite me heading for the stairs,..was gonna jump over to say high but I was close to the front of the line by then...I was sitting on the floor to the left of where the seats were...
Celeste..silky black mullet?? don't know why you mean by that.. but I guess its sort of a mullet in the sense that its longer in the back than in the front.. had some scruff facial hair and glasses on...
Thirsty...ainda nao he visto o filme, mais meus amigos falan muitas coisas boas...

interesting. my friend just told me not to stand too close to him tonight, ie, move away from the front of the stage because he produces a lot of "stage sweat" and if i didn't want his shaggy hair shaking sweat onto me, i'd be wise to move away.

quote:
Originally posted by Fico:
for an alt-country bloke he packs the birds in...

It was fantastic - even Rhett Miller was surprsingly good (hate the solo album but do like Old 97's). He even said he may be back later this year with the Old 97's. Neil Finn was great, he is a great with the audience. And a great cover of The Smiths' There's A Light That Never Goes Out dedicated to Johnny Marr. Markie did a nice little dork leap when it started.
