The Wrens @ Riverside Lounge

Okay, the good deal on this is that it's Saturday night, whereas the Ottobar show is a Sunday.  Coming from DC, not the worst (Monday would be worse), but not optimum.
 
 I didn't pay any attention to the Voxtrot show at Riverside Lounge (which I'm assuming is at or affiliated with Georgetown?).
 
 So where is this Lounge, can non-students get tickets, etc., etc.
 
 Thanks for any info! I heart heart heart the Wrens.

The Riverside Lounge is in an old dorm. It has all the charm of a conference room at Howard Johnsonâ??s.  That being said, I actually think it will be a good place to see the Wrens.
 
 For Voxtrot, they sold tickets on campus the week before the show, but you could have easily gotten them at the door.  I would assume the same for the Wrens.  Itâ??s open to non-students.  It is also BYOB, but when the campus cops come around, you should slyly put the bottle behind your back.  
 
 According to www.georgetownradio.com, the Wrens are also doing a 2:30 in-studio show at the Leavey building.

it's actually part of the old cafeteria in the new south dorm, but same difference ... there will be 20 georgetown kids and a bunch of older people brownbagging it   :D

I was really excited for this, and I just realized that I have an art show that night and I'm so so so bummed.
 
 The Wrens are really cool live.  And the Voxtrot show there was such a blast, too...we went really early because the ticket situation was so vague and non-students had to get tickets at doors I believe, and ended up going in and watching soundcheck after a couple of hours.  But if you go an hour tops before doors, you'll be more than fine.

What is the date for this show? The only thing I see about an in-studio is from October 28, 2006.

Ooops.  Yeah -- that in-studio is old news.
