Can't wait to see the show tonight--  my friend will be there earlier than i will to get a good spot in line. There may not even be a line but, better safe than sorry. When we saw the Hives at the Black Cat several years ago the line was around the block. The Sahara Hotnights are a great band too, but I forgot to bring my cd to work with me so i guess i can't get it autographed by them. Oh well. I'll totally be there! I'll be one of (the only) black ladies in the audience. If you see me, feel free to say hello.   :)

I'll be the other one, so we can do the secret handshake.  ;)

Olsson's has the CD for $12.99. I'm sure it can be found less, but I went for the local chain within a decent walking distance from my office.

 Album clocks in at 30:03.

Hey, Rhett. I dunno where I've been... I guess I did drop off the scene awhile. But I'm still here. I just haven't been going to too many shows as of late. Also my pc is on the fritz at home so the only chance i get to use the forum is here at work. It's feels nice to be missed, though.

Broken arm and all I made it to the show and back home.  Got very lucky and got invited to the sound check party.  Chris gave me a drum stick which he autographed for me.  Met some new friends and saw a kick ass show.  Thanks once more to Eddie and the crew for running such a freaking great club.

yup the show was hot, the crowded exploded when the fab songs from VVV were cranked out and i forgot how many standout tracks there were.  for me  a great drummer is whats sets a band apart from other bands.  and chris dangerous is a monster...  pelle seemed a bit less jaggeractive this time out, but still quite the energtic front/show man.  rest assured he's lifted some daltrey mic swinging into his stchick.

Great show.  I had a big grin the whole time.

Did anyone else see Pelle standing at the backdoor immediately after the show, thanking people for coming?

A few of the guys were back there, thanking folks. It was a great show. Sahara Hotnights were a tad bland for my taste, but I oh so needed a good dose of loud punky music in my diet. The Hives were great.

All three bands performing last night were top-notch.  Pelle is an excellent showman along the lines of Mick and JB.  The Hotnights were fast and loose and sexy as all hell.  The Reigning Sound were also impressive and I intend to cop one of their records.

Wow. What a show! This one was even better than their last one at the Black Cat several years ago. Unbelievable. Front and center is where i was and it was great. Got to grab onto Pele a few times too. Okay, so i got banged in the head with a few elbows and I think someone felt me up    but hey, it's rock and roll right?  Besides, I got an autographed post poster pre-show and Nick Arson gave me one of his picks before they left the stage. Just handed it right to me. Just wished i could have stuck around later.
