Yet another reason that I should exchange living quarters with my Seattle dwelling brother. Although I don't care much for this years lineup.

That lineup is pretty great.  I wish it was easier to get there.

Uh, Bad Brains?  Is HR stable enough these days to be performing?

Not nearly as good as it has been in the past.  I almost flew out there last year, the lineup was so amazing.  But my family traditionally goes camping on Memorial Day weekend, and I didn't want to miss that.  I still regret not going in 2004, though, when I was living near Seattle.

The fact that Smoosh is playing is pretty awesome, though.

The last time I saw Bad Brains play, HR finished the set by beating on the snare drum for five minutes while a friend of his sang nonsense.  This was about 5 years ago at the 930 club.

I'd take Neko, Spoon, Interpol (<3) and Bjork.. and the Beastie Boys.. rest I've either seen too much or have no interest in. Not a bad lineup, if it weren't across the country I'd go.

neeed moar interpol around these parts
