I am just testing the waters of the slow old people music   , so I have only heard the new CD.  but i saw them last month in Wisconsin and they were damn good.

  moyen = mean (although can mean average too)
 
  detest = hate
 
  I believe you are mean.

online and most other general forms of translation arent usually right i have found, it only gives you a basic gist, but words that look the same with different meaning , can be confused there.

   If I liked/listened to pop folk duos, i would welcome as much new talent as possible though.

 I've known of them since 1994. I still don't understand how tickets to their last show at the club cost $25. I mean how did they gain so much notariety?

Yeah, playing at the Recher on 8/14 for $25. I guess college kids are back in town.  I dont know.
