environment = bastards with SUVs and people who run the AC all the time and litter are ruining it

campaign finance reform = who are we kidding?

rising health care = people should take better care of themselves so as not to be a burden to society, that being said, everyone should get free basic healthcare in this wealthy country of ours

With seven pages dedicated to hockey, I'm going to have to agree with that one.

Did you hear about the new goalie who got pissed at the camera company he previously worked for? Goes by the name of Yutaka Fukufuji.

agreed...

i'm getting tired of when people come here all excited about a show, only to have the thread turn into platform for others to pick apart that show because of the fanbase lifestyle, whether or not said group is washed up, the cost of the ticket, etc.  it's not very welcoming and becoming tiresome.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask that you stop referring to a Hanson "concert" as a "show." It's like calling an issue of Seventeen Magazine a "novel."

It's called having an opinion and expressing it on a music chat board.

Who wants to read something that is all positive blubbering about each and every topic? If I did, I'd watch the Richard Simmons network 24 hours a day.

I'll make Rhett's response for him: "well it's my opinion that spending $55 to see Devo is tiresome and unproductive."

actually, you are right, canker...it actually gives the Hanson event more dignity to call it a "concert" than a "show"...let's keep calling it a "show"

Well it's my opinion that at this point Pearl Jam's music is tiresome and unproductive, but they're still soldiering on.

I think it's hiliarious when Snailhook disses Bright Eyes, Julian disses Old 97's, or Redsock disses any band that has ever smoked marijuana. Much more interesting reading than, "Wow, they really fucking blew me away. What an amazing band."

Anyway...I have no grip against Hanson...they are related to Beck, afterall...

I just think Rhett is funny.

He does not take himself too seriously, and neither should anyone else.
