Too late?!?

This topic was started back in February 2003. Timeliness is of *no* concern here.

1. Jesus & Mary Chain "The Hardest Walk"
 2. Husker Du "Girl Who Lives on Heaven Hill"
 3. The Pogues "Misty Morning Albert Bridge"

I'm kind of stuck in the 80s.

Kosmo or Medusa should have an event playing only songs on this list.

 So eclectic. Yet so groovy

1. La caccia, by Goblin ...This is from the DAWN OF THE DEAD(78) soundtrack.  It's from the scene when the SWAT guys are driving the trucks to block the mall doors.  Has a very triumphant feel.

 2.  Street Thunder, by John Carpenter off of the Assault on Precinct 13 soundtrack.  The entire disc has a wickedkewl urban-showdown feel to it.

 3.  Goldfinger, by Webb Wilder & The Nashvegans.  By far the best cover version of this kickass tune.

Those are just insane selections    :D

Looking forward to DoD 2004 dvd coming out in October. Those zombie flix always have good tunes. Like J Cash's  The Man Comes Around during the explanatory credits in DoD 2004

Dupek, I thought for sure that your top 3 would have something to do with Dr. Demento, bird calls, and Hawkwind.

Only one mainstay throughout my life:

 U2 - "Bad"

Any other two rotate so often....

this could be done.  i spin at THE ASYLUM every other thursday (PARANOIA) and every friday (TRANSMISSION).  a lot of the stuff mentioned here, oddly enough, i play already at TRANSMISSION: JOY DIVISION, ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN, U2, THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN, etc.  all it would take is for me to get some of the stuff i don't have on vinyl, and we could have a party.  KOSMO and MEDUSA could be guests.

 something to think about...

"See a Little Light," Bob Mould
 "Spellbound," Siouxsie & the Banshees
 "The Headmaster Ritual," The Smiths

Not sure 'cuz it's an impossible question, but they've stood the test of time and still make me swoon...

I was coming here to post that I have all three of my selections on vinyl so we're a go, but then the thought hit me, no way in hell are they leaving the house.

That'd be cool.
Although...this thread has reminded me of "High Fidelity" -- when he calls the reporter to edit his Top 5 albums...
