Is that an amusement park? My wife wouldn't go on any of the rides with me, and going by myself wouldn't be any fun  :(

i have been to cleveland dozens of times, have family there and its only about 2 hours from my hometown of pittsburgh. used to have a ball there, lots of good dining and tons of nice places to drink. i like 6th street alot, the grog shop is an interesting place to see a show.

sounds like a good place to have a showcase. not too expensive for a fairly large city, cheap to fly there, lots of stuff to do downtown.

besides, a three day, four night concert, and you wont go cause you can't hike?  you make no sense at all.

maybe next year they'll  have the show at Rhettland.....

  they'll have3 stages.

  1 for alt country
  1 for regular country
1 for other bands (you know, so people will GO to the concert)

Takes more than a music festival to get me to go somewhere. If all it took were a music festival, I'd be at Austin City Limits Festival every year. Guess with budget and vacation time limitations, music festivals aren't high enough priority for us to base vacations on them.

well, i went to the beach, played some golf and took a road trip through the desert on my vacation to Coachella......surely with some creativity you could find some exciting stuff to do in Ohio or Western NY/PA.  doesnt have to be in downtown Cleveland....

Check with me - W PA is an entertainment mecca.

This Cleve-Fest can't be all bad.
It's only going to be 1.75 hrs from my house. That's 40% of the required time it takes me to get to the hallowed halls of the Nightclub 9:30.

You could always hang out with Harvey Pekar.

From off the streets of Cleveland.  Here's our man in the 930 Forum.

Hmmm. We were thinking of going to Spain for a couple of weeks, but perhaps we'll have to reconsider and go to Cleveland.

Cleveland has the biggest Hooters bar & grille I've ever seen.

And it would be cheap -- woo hoo!  (The city generally, not Hooters.)
