I'm not sure what his stance on gay marriage has to do with anything.
Personally, I'm in favor of government recognition of gay marriage, and for churches to have the freedom to be for or against it.
However, I can understand the opinion of those who say that marriage is and should remain a heterosexual institution.
What does gay marriage have to do with gay sex in an airport bathroom?

True - I haven't even started attacking his record in Congress yet. How he voted for the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act and, in 2006, voted to cut off debate on a proposed constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. He also voted against a 1996 bill prohibiting employment discrimination based on sexual orientation, which failed by one vote in the Senate.
But you're right, I have stuck mostly with pointing out how absurd his rebuttal has been. [/b]
